Suppose I Had This House

This house by Suppose Design Office just might be the coolest home I've ever seen. I drooled over this place when I spotted it on their website. It was also featured in Dezeen.
Located in Buzen, Japan (in Fukuoka Prefecture) this house is a dream come true for one lucky family.
For starters there's a spacious play area. I think I'd need to put down a rug here. Those floors look a little harsh.
Then there are the halls covered by a glass canopy so the kids could play safely "outside" while Mommy and Daddy curl up on the sofa and read a book.
Can't you see yourself sitting here with your morning cup of coffee and the paper? I just love the idea of a house made up of separate little buildings and connected together by these wonderful sun-drenched halls. If I lived here, I would put even more potted plants in the halls so it would be like living in a botanical garden. Of course, then I'd be spending a good portion of my day watering and trimming plants instead of sitting in that chair with my coffee. And let's not discuss my track record with keeping plants alive.
This would be like eating alfresco every night! Imagine listening to the pitter-patter of rain against the glass as you enjoy dinner by candlelight.

At the end of the day you could wind down with a glass of wine and not worry about the mosquitos eating you alive.
