Ready for Spring

Can you tell I'm ready for spring? First, there were the cherry blossom prints I've been working on. Now I'm daydreaming about all the things I want to do in the yard.

I found the cutest garden inspiration on House to Home. How cute is that planter for an herb garden? I'm going to check out a carpentry book from the library this weekend and start learning how to make things like that.
Oh, I can't wait to be able to have a little outdoor party!
Not sure how practical an outdoor office is, but is sure is cute. For an inside office, how about painting an old picture frame with high-gloss paint and sticking some corkbaord in there? And that stool reminds me of my plan to decoupage one for the kitchen or bathroom.
The balcony upstairs needs a little pizzazz. I'm thinking about buying some cheap galvanized steel buckets, like these, and making a hanging garden along the railing. These colorful pots with holders from Ikea are also cute.

Well, that's enough about spring for now. We're expecting a snowstorm tomorrow and I better get to the grocery store before the rush.
