Memorial Day Fun

 There was absolutely no home improvement or crafting going on this past Memorial Day weekend. My sister and her family were visiting and, despite some cold and wet weather, we made it out to a few events. Anri and Isla got to fly their first kites at the Family Kite festival by the lake. 

This being Milwaukee, there were also a couple of brewery visits. And we managed to grill out one afternoon and go to the zoo before things turned really gray and rainy on Monday. 

Now that our visitors are gone, it's time to get back to scraping dried grout off the tiles (I think I have weeks of that ahead) and putting reducers and base molding on. Plus a few hundred other things. 

Hopefully, someone else comes to visit soon so we can put some of the more tedious projects on hold again and have some fun!
