Tokyo Shopping Guidebook

If you're coming to Tokyo and want to find a bunch of independent shops that are mostly off the beaten path, then look for this book. It's called "Yatto Mitsuketta Watashi Dake No Zakkaten." Or "Finally I found my own Accessories Shops." It's in Japanese, but the pictures and maps make it fairly easy to find what you're looking for. Look for it at bookshops (I found my copy at Lumine Department Store's Bookshop in the "Lifestyle" section). 

I love this book because it leads you to cool streets and shops that you won't find listed in most English travel or shopping guides.
