Tokujin Yoshioka's Bouquet Chair
I must have flowers on the brain because, well, look at my last post. And now I'm back with another blooming design. While I was watching 9 by Design (love that show) on iTunes, I heard the name Tokujin Yoshioka mentioned. So I just had to Google (and flickr) him.
This chair came out in 2008, so I'm a bit behind the times I guess, but I still think it's worth mentioning. I'm not even going to try and find a retailer that carries it because something tells me this chair is not going to fit into my house design budget.
So now I'm wondering if it could be DIY'd. Have you ever DIY'd something you didn't want to fork out the cash for? I definitely have my work cut out for me if I try this. And what if it doesn't work? Think I'll use recycled fabric from my too-trashed-to-give-away clothes pile. This should be interesting.
