Not Your Average Tokyo Mansion

Here's another great peek into modern Japanese architecture from Dezeen. This apartment building was designed by Sou Fujimoto Architects.

For those of you who aren't familiar with the lingo, "mansion" refers to a typical Japanese apartment/condo. 

Why can't I find apartments like this when I'm searching through listings? 

I'm a little confused by the translated text that went with this story, so if I have time this week I'll try to see if I can get more information from the architect's website.
