Happy Thanksgiving

My floral arrangement here might make an ikebana enthusiast cringe, but I like just plopping flowers in vase and not worrying too much about it. This was pretty much my only Thanksgiving decoration this year.

I thought I'd have more time to get some posts up this week, but with family in town it's just not going to happen. We're busy running around Tokyo and seeing the sights. I'm so thankful to have family in town for the holiday and we've discovered some really wonderful new (new for me) sights in the city (more on that next week). 

Finding turkey in Japan takes more energy than I have right now, so I think we'll do Japanese food tonight.
