In the Studio

I have some new blocks that I just printed for the first time on notecards.. These are two of six (and counting) designs that I drew based on old Japanese textile designs.
It's been quite a challenge designing blocks for print on stationery, even though that's what I'd originally set out to do when I started doing linocuts.
I love how the brayer is imprinted with the leafy design after inking up the block.

I need to do a few more printing runs before I'm ready to send them to the shop, but I'm almost there!

Love the red! These would be such original Christmas cards. I've loved the teacup note cards you did, and am probably ready for more of those, too.
