Scrapbooking Fun
One summer day, we went for a family walk and when we were halfway down the block, Anri goes, "Mommy, do I have enough skirts on?" She lifted up her skirt to reveal she had layered several more underneath. It made me laugh and I didn't want to forget that so, I used that as inspiration for a scrapbook page.
I used some pretty papers and tore them to cover heavy card stock. To stick it down, I used a gel medium. Then I used stamps, a stencil and molding paste (tined with acrylic paint), twine, cut outs, washi tape, glitter ric arc, a feather and spray ink to jazz up the page. For the skirts, I cut out 3 rectangles of different sizes, brushed them with water and folded them, pinching at the top. I used gel medium to stick the fold together and to glue them to the page.
Now it's time to get back to doing our Christmas cards, along with a few other things on my very long to-do list today.
