Clothesline Christmas Trees

December is the busiest month of the year for my glue gun. There are just so many cute things to make with it.

These Dr. Seuss-ish little trees were made with clothesline from the dollar store. The cord caught my eye because it reminded me of baker's twine. Only it's a little chunkier so there's more to love.
To make these, all you do is wrap the cord around a foam cone. The cones come in all sorts of sizes at the craft store, so take your pick. Use hot glue to secure the cord at the bottom of the form and work your way up. I used a dab of hot glue about every 3 wraps or so and at the very end of the cord. Then I hot-glued a big pom pom on the top.
